A word of advice

It’s recommended to not leave the trimmer running constantly, but rather repeatedly switch it on/off in a pulsating manner. This way of operating reduces the rotation speed, which prevents the wire spool from wearing too quickly. Pulsating also prevents the wire form breaking when hitting a hard object (e.g. rocks or fence posts). Of course, the trimming quality remains the same!
